A union of international and very high-level organizations have come together for the occasion. Those are: the Director General of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), Qu Dongyu, International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, World Bank Group (WBG) President David Malpass, World Food Program (WFP) Executive Director David Beasley, and the Director General of the World Trade Organization (WTO), Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
Both countries were major exporters of both food and grain, occupying a large percentage worldwide, which now with the conflict has been completely altered.
